DISCLAIMER

I do not provide, sell, or supply psychedelic substances, nor do I facilitate psychedelic experiences within Ireland, where such practices are currently illegal. As a fully accredited psychotherapist and psychedelic practitioner, I offer ethical, therapeutic support focused on preparation and integration for individuals who have had, or are considering, psychedelic experiences. While I do not promote illegal use, I recognise that psychedelics are being legalised in many parts of the world and researched as breakthrough therapies. My approach is grounded in harm reduction, and this website offers resources to support safety, insight, and well-being. I am an Accredited Registered Practitioner Member of APPI – The Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland, an Accredited Member of ICP – the Irish Council for Psychotherapy, and a Professional Member of OPEN – The European Foundation for Psychedelic Science. My practice is fully insured.

WELCOME TO PSYCHEDELIC SUPPORT SPACE

Therapy In Dublin

Psychedelics have been a part of my personal journey for many years now. My own experiences with their transformative potential left a deep impression on me, opening up new perspectives, questions, and a profound sense of possibility. They also made me aware of just how important it is to be held, prepared, and supported when navigating such powerful inner landscapes.

Over time, I’ve been fortunate to learn from and be supported by truly wonderful guides and teachers, both during my own experiences and throughout my professional training. Their wisdom, presence, and care have shaped me deeply, and I carry their teachings with a great deal of gratitude.

For me, psychedelics became a natural next step in my professional development, an extension of my therapeutic work and a deeply meaningful addition to my existing tools. Much like psychoanalysis, which has long guided my clinical practice, psychedelics offer a powerful gateway into the unconscious, into the unknown parts of ourselves that shape how we feel, relate, and live. I see them as a profound tool for self-discovery, when used with care, intention, and proper support.

As I continued to work as a psychotherapist, I began to see more and more people seeking help after psychedelic experiences, some beautiful and expansive, others deeply confusing, even traumatic. Many felt lost trying to make sense of what had happened, unsure how to return to daily life carrying what they had seen or felt.

This growing need moved me. I wanted to offer more than just empathy, I wanted to offer skilled, informed support grounded in ethics and care. That’s what led me to pursue formal Psychedelic Practitioner Training: to expand the tools I use in my clinical work and deepen the quality of presence I can offer to others.

I believe these substances can hold incredible potential for healing and growth, but only when approached with respect, responsibility, and proper integration. Without that, they can do real harm. My hope is to share what I’ve learned, to accompany others on this path with care, and to offer a space where insights can be safely explored and meaningfully integrated into daily life.

Preparation

Preparation is the foundation of any meaningful psychedelic journey. It’s the work that helps create the psychological safety, emotional resilience, and inner clarity needed to approach such a powerful experience with openness and care.

Preparation is the foundation of any meaningful psychedelic journey. It’s the work that helps create the psychological safety, emotional resilience, and inner clarity needed to approach such a powerful experience with openness and care. In our preparatory sessions, we explore your personal history, current life context, and intentions, tuning into what’s calling you toward this work and what you hope to understand, shift, or heal.

I view psychedelic work not as an isolated event but as part of an ongoing therapeutic process. Psychedelics are not a shortcut, nor a substitute for therapy, but rather a catalyst that can illuminate and deepen the work already unfolding. The most profound experiences often arise when a person has developed sufficient self-awareness, emotional capacity, and readiness to meet what may surface.

Together, we create a tailored preparation plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and circumstances. This may include emotional regulation tools, somatic awareness practices, journaling, or mindfulness-based exercises. These elements help to cultivate a sense of readiness and stability before stepping into the unknown.

Preparation also involves clarifying boundaries, setting intentions, and developing the capacity to navigate whatever arises; be it beauty, challenge, or both. We also review physical health, medications and any pharmacological or medical contraindications that might make a psychedelic experience inadvisable, ensuring safety as a priority.

The more deeply we prepare, the more the experience can unfold with coherence, trust, and meaning. Approached in this way, preparation becomes an integral part of the journey itself, laying the groundwork for transformation and integration that extends far beyond the session.

Psychedelic Session

The psychedelic experience is a profound and often deeply intimate encounter with the inner world. When approached with care, intention, and proper support, it can open extraordinary spaces for healing, insight, and transformation.

The psychedelic experience is a profound and often deeply intimate encounter with the inner world. When approached with care, intention, and proper support, it can open extraordinary spaces for healing, insight, and transformation. Yet, its depth and vulnerability require a solid ethical framework and a stable, compassionate container.

A well-held psychedelic session is not accidental, it’s the result of mindful preparation, safe surroundings, and the guidance of experienced, qualified facilitators. The internal environment (your mindset often referred to as SET) and the external one (the physical setting and those accompanying you SETTING) work together to shape the experience. Feeling emotionally safe and physically comfortable allows the psyche to unfold more freely, enabling the material of the unconscious to emerge with less resistance.

While I do not offer psychedelic sessions in Ireland, I work with individuals who choose to engage in legal psychedelic therapy abroad. My role is to support you before and after the experience, helping to ensure that the process is grounded, safe and integrated. This includes discussing potential expectations, emotional safety, and ways to stay connected to your inner guidance during the session itself.

The psychedelic session is not an endpoint but a doorway, an initiation into a deeper relationship with oneself. With proper care and containment, it can become a transformative meeting with the unconscious, offering insight, release, and renewal. Yet it is the integration that follows which allows these moments to become living parts of who we are.

Integration is the process of making meaning from a psychedelic experience; of allowing what was seen, felt, or understood to take root in everyday life. Without thoughtful integration, even the most profound journeys can remain disjointed, confusing, or overwhelming. With care and reflection, however, they can evolve into lasting sources of growth, clarity, and self-compassion.

In our integration sessions, we work collaboratively to unpack the experience, honouring its beauty, complexity, and any challenges that may have arisen. This may involve exploring emotional material, processing difficult memories, grounding spiritual insights, or connecting new awareness to ongoing therapeutic themes. Integration is not about interpretation or analysis from the outside, but about creating space for your own understanding to unfold in its own rhythm and language.

My approach draws on psychodynamic therapy, clinical psychology, and trauma-informed practice, allowing us to explore emotional, cognitive, relational and somatic dimensions of your experience. Together, we may use reflective dialogue, body-based exercises, creative processes, or mindfulness practices to anchor insights into embodied awareness.

Each person’s integration path is unique. We therefore create a personalised plan that supports what has emerged, helping you stay connected to what feels most alive and meaningful. True integration takes time. It is not a single session, but a living process of weaving new understanding into the fabric of your life. My role is to accompany you with steadiness and care as the meaning of your experience continues to unfold and deepen over time.

Microdosing

Microdosing involves taking very small, sub-perceptual amounts of a psychedelic substance, typically with the aim of enhancing focus, creativity, mood, and overall well-being, rather than seeking a full psychedelic experience. These subtle doses can support emotional resilience, cognitive flexibility, and enhanced self-awareness, gently illuminating patterns of thought, emotional habits, and relational dynamics.

While research is still developing, an increasing number of studies suggest that microdosing can have a positive impact on general well-being, mood, and mental balance. Many individuals use it as a complementary tool alongside therapy, self-reflection, or other personal growth practices, noticing subtle shifts that accumulate over time.

As with any intentional practice, safety and mindful attention are essential. We review potential health considerations, medications, or contraindications before exploring any form of microdosing, and we incorporate reflective practices to ensure that insights or subtle shifts are understood and integrated into everyday life.

Microdosing is not a shortcut or a replacement for therapeutic work but can be a supportive companion to it. With intention, careful observation, and structured integration, it can illuminate the inner landscape, foster emotional and cognitive insight, and encourage a deeper engagement with oneself and one’s life.

Psychedelic States Beyond Substances

Not all psychedelic experiences arise from substances. Profoundly altered states of consciousness can also be evoked through practices such as holotropic breathwork, deep meditation, somatic work, or other embodied and spiritual disciplines. These practices can open similar inner landscapes, reveal unconscious material, stir powerful emotions and offer glimpses of expanded awareness or deep connection.

Just like substance-induced experiences, these states can be deeply transformative, but they may also feel destabilising or confusing if approached without care. In our sessions, we treat these experiences with the same attention, curiosity, and ethical support as any psychedelic journey. This includes preparing for the experience, creating a safe mental and physical space, and attending to any emotional or somatic responses that arise.

Integration is central to making these insights meaningful. We explore what has emerged, connecting emotional, symbolic and somatic layers to your broader life context. The goal is to anchor what is revealed in a way that supports ongoing growth, rather than leaving insights ungrounded or fleeting.

These non-substance-based journeys remind us that the “psychedelic” is not limited to chemistry but is an inherent potential of the human mind. When approached with awareness, reflection, and support, they can foster deep healing, creativity, and clarity.
